iRun4Life Gives Back Program

iRun4Life Gives Back Program

We are excited to announce the new iRun4Life Gives Back Program which will support a community needs-based project each year. Our goal is to give children in need opportunities to be excited about getting fit and staying healthy.

Our first Gives Back Program recipient was Bayard Taylor Elementary, and our second recipient was Roosevelt Elementary School - both in North Philadelphia. These schools were in need for new exercise and team building equipment for their children.

During the week of April 24, 2017 over 1,000 runners from 11 iRun4Life affliated elementary schools participated in exciting, fitness-based fundraising activities. These amazing runners were from Buckingham Elementary, Bridge Valley Elementary, Jamison Elementary, Doyle Elementary, Kutz Elementary, Linden Elementary, Pine Run Elementary, Cold Spring Elementary, Richboro Elementary, St. Jude Elementary, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel. They ran in relay races, color runs, obstacle courses and endurance running all to raise money for Bayard Taylor and Roosevelt.

iRun4Life runners and their families successfully raised over $7,500, and all the new exercise equipment was delivered to the children at Bayard Taylor in September 2017, and to Roosevelt in October 2017 in time for the start of the new school year. We are incredibly proud of our runners, and thank them and their families for their amazing support!
